Last weekend, we took a quick trip to the Big Apple. It was my first time to NYC.
We took the 7:30am bus from Alewife (about a 12 minute train ride from our apartment) and arrived in NYC about 4 1/2 hours later. We used World Wide Bus company and it was a decent ride. It was a 56 person bus, had a lavatory in the back, wifi, and power plugs.

Our first glimpse at the city:

The bus took us downtown. We arrived at Penn Station and took the subway. One of our first stops was Wall Street:

We saw the area around World Trade Memorial:

The fire station across from the WTC buildings:

Trinity Church courtyard:

We took a boat cruise and got close to the Statue of Liberty:

More pictures to come.

WOW!!! I’ve never been in a subway. You’ll have to tell me about it sometime. And thanks for showing me all those landmarks!!!! This was really GREAT!!!
hugs,
This was awesome. I thoroughly appreciate your attention to details. Shows the diversity of New York – and its beauty. Great.
That looks like a fantastic trip!! I had no idea there was bus service out of Alewife – I usually use Bolt Bus out of South Station. I will have to try that next time!
